Rail and Drive Pass -
Explore Germany
traveling from cities to country sides to villages. You'll
combine train travel with your own rental car, so you can use
the train for longer distances,
The German Rail
and Drive Pass gives you:
:- Choice of 2, 3 or 4 days
of unlimited train travel within a 1-month
period.
:- 2 days Hertz car rental with
unlimited mileage and local tax included.
:- For your car rental in Europe, choose
between 7 car categories, 4 with manual
transmission and 3 automatic.
:- Unlimited train travel on the
national rail networks of Germany.
:-1st and 2nd class train travel
available
Options:
Unlimited additional car
days.
3rd and 4th person and/or
children 5-11 sharing car need only to purchase
German Rail Passes.
Conditions:
Passes must
be validated within 6 months of issue date.
Passes must be validated prior to
first day of use.
If an
overnight train starts after 7pm on a validated
Pass, the passholder must enter the next day's
date on the pass, provided it falls within the
validity of the pass.
Rail Pass valid
to Salzburg (Austria) and Basel Bad
(Switzerland).
Residents of Europe are
not eligible to purchase or use a German Rail ’n
Drive.
Pass is not valid on DB Urlaubs
Express or AutoZug.
People using a
U.S. Military I.D. are eligible to
use this pass.
