Drive Pass
Explore any three bordering European countries with the
utmost flexibility. You'll combine train travel with your own
rental car, so you can use the train for longer distances,
wake up refreshed and ready to get in your own car to explore
surrounding areas.
The Eurail
Drive Select
Pass gives you:
- Any 3 days
unlimited train travel
- 2 days AVIS or
HERTZ car rental with unlimited mileage
- 2 months to
complete your travel
- 1st class train
travel
- Choice of 3 car
categories with manual transmission
- Free drop-off at
selected locations within country of rental
- Local tax included
on car rental
- Special travel bonuses (see Bonus)
Bonus:
- Discounted fare on
Eurostar (the channel tunnel train between Paris and London
or Brussels and London) and other international high speed
services such as Thalys and Artesia
- Free or discounted
travel on selected ferries, lake steamers, boats and buses,
such as the Brindisi (Italy) to Patras (Greece) ferry, and
ferries from Ireland to France or Sweden to Finland
- A complete list of
bonuses is included on the complimentary Eurail map you will
receive with your pass

Conditions:
- The chosen
countries must be bordering, and have a direct (not through
another country) train or shipping line which is part of the
Eurail offer (e.g.: France, Benelux* and Germany are three
adjoining countries).
- Passes must be
validated within 6 months of issue date and must be
validated prior to first train journey and/or first use of
bonus. You validate the pass in the ticket office of the
railway station prior to boarding your first train.
- Certain trains may
transit through a country not covered by the pass. In that
case an additional ticket must be purchased.
- If an overnight
train starts after 7pm on a validated Eurail Selectpass, the
pass holder must enter the next day's date on the pass,
provided it falls within the validity of the pass.
Benelux refers
to Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. This is considered
one country for the Eurail Selectpass.
What are adjoining
countries:
- The chosen
countries must be bordering, or have a direct shipping line
which is part of the Eurail offer.
- Norway and Denmark
are connected by the Color Line Boat-connection
Hirtshals-Kristiansand. You can add one more connecting
country to your Selectpass, like Sweden or Germany
- Important! Norway and Finland are
not adjoining countries. They have a joint border, but to
get by train from Norway to Finland clients have to travel
through Sweden.
- Important! Make sure all the
countries the train is going to travel through are covered
in the Eurail Selectpass. If this is not the case, you must
buy a separate ticket for the trip.
