What is a Classic and a Flexi Pass?
Britrail has two type of Passes, Classic and Flexi. Classic is consecutive days of travel regardless of you travel or not, the days are being counted (e.g: you get a 4 consecutive days and you start on day1, the pass expires on day 4 midnight.), whereas the Flexi pass is flexible and the days are only counted when you actually travel (e.g you get a 4 day flexi pass and you start on day1, let say, you stay a day and return back on the day 3, you have only used 2 day which is the day you went and the day you came back, the day you stayed is not counted.
Classic and Flexi Passes have multiple categories:
Classic (for everyone who don't qualify as Youth, Senior or Party), Youth (for people under 26 years of age), Senior (for people 60 and over) and Party (for group of 3 and 4 people traveling together).
BritRail Classic Pass: Consecutive days of travel within Britain.
BritRail Classic Pass Youth: Same as Britrail Classic but designed for youth (people under 26 years of age and is in 2nd class).
BritRail Classic Pass Senior: If you are 60 and over, you can get the the same features as the BritRail Classic Pass but at a great savings and London tourism
BritRail Classis Party Pass: Offer discounted travel for 3 or 4 people traveling together.
BritRail Flexi pass: Allows you to travel throughout Britain at a leisurely pace, Pick and choose the days of travel within 2 months.Great for London tours
BritRail Youth Flexi Pass: Same as Britrail Flexi but for people under 26 years of age.
BritRail Flexi Seniors Pass: For those who are 60 and over, enjoy the special price.
BritRail Flexi Party Pass: Offer discounted travel for 3 or 4 people traveling together.
Assorted Passes: Britain days out of LONDON: Provides train travel for day trips out of London including Cambridge, Windsor Castle, Oxford, Salisbury and Brighton.
BritRail Pass + Ireland: Travel in Britain and Irish Sea crossings to explore the wonders of Ireland. Freedom of Scotland Travel pass: Allow travel by rail plus ferries to the Scottish Islands.
Heathrow Express Pass: Creates a world class rail link from downtown London to Heathrow airport in just 15 minutes. BritRail Pass 'n Drive: Fast and comfortable BritRail trains for long hauls, with the freedom of a Hertz car to explore the beauty of the British countryside.
