What is a Classic and a Flexi Pass?
Britrail has two type of Passes, Classic and Flexi. Classic is consecutive days of
travel regardless of you travel or not, the days are being
counted (e.g: you get a 4 consecutive days and you start on
day1, the pass expires on day 4 midnight.), whereas the Flexi
pass is flexible and the days are only counted when you
actually travel (e.g you get a 4 day flexi pass and you start
on day1, let say, you stay a day and return back on the day 3,
you have only used 2 day which is the day you went and the day
you came back, the day you stayed is not counted.
Classic and Flexi Passes have
multiple categories:
Classic (for everyone who don't
qualify as Youth, Senior or Party), Youth (for people under 26
years of age), Senior (for people 60 and over) and Party (for
group of 3 and 4 people traveling together).
