Before forming this company, we worked for a major European railroad (a major distributor for European passes) as reservation agents and group coordinators. During our tenure, we found that there was lack of customer service and proper guidance.

We believed that we could do a better job by providing better service and really giving the right advice to our customers. We believed that the heart of good business is to build good customer relationships and treat our clients with honesty.

Therefore, Europe On Rail was formed. Our prices are the same as any other company, but our customer service is what sets us apart from the rest of them. We do a few things that the "big guys" don't:

• We'll answer any of your questions, any time. If you aren't sure what you need to buy, just call or e-mail. Need some advice regarding what to do at your travel destination? Just ask.
  
  
• We will not sell you anything that you don't need. Many customers may buy passes that are more expensive than what they need. So, every time a person calls to make an order, we take the time to get all the travel details from them and then custom tailor the most economical product for their trip -- whether it is a ticket, a pass, or a combination of both.
  
  
• We're a pretty small company. This means you get the same prices as with the big guys, but you get personal service from us. Every time you call, you can talk to the same person who knows your unique situation and can recommend exactly what you need. But just because we're small, don't think we can't take care of your needs; in our former positions with the rail company we handled complex reservations and group booking. We also acted as advisors to travel agents to help them find the best possible packages for their  clients.
